In 1993, the Cazeneuve family took over a 2-hectare jewel in the mythical appellation of Margaux in the commune of Cantenac. Château La Bessane is planted at 22% of Petit Verdot which is unique on the appellation. Pierre Cazeneuve makes every effort to allow the Petit Verdot to express body, colors and richness in tannins.
